Deepika Padukone’s recent looks in the hues of the sun, from lemon yellow to ochre

Deepika Padukone has been pulling out some high octane fashion looks for the promotions of her recently released, Chhapaak. The movie also stars Vikrant Massey in a leading role, and is based on the life of acid attack survivor and Stop Sale Acid campaigner, Laxmi Agarwal.

In fact, for the premier of the movie, Deepika and Laxmi both wore sarees by ace couturier Sabyasachi Mukherji. While Deepika wore a shimmery midnight blue saree, Laxmi wore a Benarasi silk saree in pink, and both looked stunning.

While we have been loving all of Deepika’s looks, be it designs by designers Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce and Gabbana, among others, it is her recent looks in the hues of the sun, from lemon yellow to ochre, that have got us swooning and exclaiming, “It’s all yellow”.

Deepika wore an Anamika Khanna saree in yellow with a scalloped embroidered border. Her dark blue, heavily embroidered blouse was a nice contrast to her sunshine yellow saree.

She wore huge danglers in her ears and went for a subtle, sultry make-up look. She had her hair up in a bun, classic Deepika in a saree style.

Deepika was also spotted wearing an ochre-coloured Sabyasachi kurta with gota detailing, and matching churidar and dupatta. And we are so happy to see a churidar after so long, it seems all anyone wears is palazzos now.

Deepika sported her classic neat bun and carried a black bucket bag with a sleek gold link chain detailing to complete her look. She wore huge earring in her ears that were embellished with stones.

On her birthday, Deepika wore Anjul Bhandari’s butter-yellow chinar jaal gharara, which was embellished with baby pearls, Austrian Swarovski and sequins.

Deepika once again sported her signature tight bun. She wore earrings embellished with jade and pearls and Needledust mojris to complete the look.

The gorgeous beauty Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with Anand Ahuja last year and the two of them have been inseparable since then. Right from attending mega events and parties to going on exotic vacays from time to time, the two of them are setting some major relationship goals for the other couples out there. The paparazzi often wait eagerly to catch a glimpse of the lovely couple whenever they make public appearances so that they can click them together.  

Recently, the Veere Di Wedding actress has been snapped along with her husband Anand again as the two of them stepped out together in the city. Sonam looked like a perfect mix of classy and trendy as she wore a multi – coloured jacket teamed up with a mustard yellow skirt. She teamed up her outfit with a pair of matching white heels. Anand, on the other hand, wore a brown – coloured jacket teamed up with matching trousers and a black t – shirt.

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor was last seen in the movie The Zoya Factor in which she was paired up opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The movie is based on Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel of the same name and was released into the theaters on September 20, 2019. Apart from Sonam and Dulquer, it also starred Angad Bedi, Sikander Kher, Sanjay Kapoor and others in pivotal roles. The movie received mixed responses from the audiences and film critics upon its release.

Malaika Arora recently stunned in a regal lehenga at a wedding and showed how to wear a dupatta without having to manage one.

Malaika wore the sparkling lehenga with a sleeveless blouse which was attached with the designer’s signature drape trail. It looked like an attached dupatta.

On the entire trip, Padukone looked radiant and flawless in a number of Sabyasachi outfits for the occasions. Today, the actress was spotted heading out of the city in yet another ethnic look that we can’t stop staring at!Looking radiant as ever, DP opted for a bright rani pink ethnic outfit as she strutted in style at the airport.

The bright kurta featured golden embroidery work on it and a round neck with a keyhole cut out. The sleeves of her simple kurta also featured golden embroidery work. Pairing this with matching pajama pants with a golden hem and an organza dupatta that she draped around her shoulders.She completed her look with tan and gold juttis and a classy brown leather handbag.

Keeping her look simple but clean, Padukone pulled her hair back into a tousled ponytail with a small bouffant hairstyle. A flawless base, dark, filled in brows, pink eyeshadow loads of mascara and nuteral lips completed the actress’ look.

We love how easily and elegantly Deepika carried off the outfit. The colour bounced off her skin and made her glow brightly! This B-town diva has been caught sporting some of the most lovely looks

The markets will be buzzing with people soon and we’re all just browsing through Instagram and picking our favorite traditional wear goals.

The festive season is just a week away and we’re all going to spend our days browsing around the market for some festive clothes for our celebrations. This season it seems that minimal is trending a lot and festivals are a lot of work so we all want to wear some comfortable and hassle-free but out heavy ethnic outfits can hamper our movement and can a lot of trouble. Keeping it minimal has its perks. Moreover, you won’t have to wear those heavy earrings that will make your ears hurt. Our B-town ladies have set the ball rolling with these minimal looks.

This B-town diva has been caught sporting some of the most lovely looks in red for the promotion of “The Zoya Factor”. She has kept her looks very minimal and super chic. One of our favorites is her red saree with a shrug. It is very plain with no work or embroidery and has a very thin gold border. She has kept her accessories minimal too. A choker neckpiece and studs. This look is the perfect minimal for the festive season.

Karisma Kapoor just gets better with age. She looks very beautiful in this embroidered Anarkali suit. She has paired it with cigarette pants and it looks too good to handle. Another one of our favorites is her white embroidered Anarkali by Varun Bahl. They’re very simple and she has kept the accessories light and hassle-free.

Sonakshi’s beautiful and intricately embroidered white Anarkali suit by Manish Malhotra is the definition of ethereal. This elegant look is a perfect steal for the upcoming festive season.

She has some of the best saree collection. She wore a purple raw mango Banarasi saree with a very plain sleeveless blouse and statement earrings. This look is very classy and elegant and she has managed to look gorgeous. If a Banarasi saree is too much you can try her other minimal look with an embroidered blouse and georgette saree with slight embellishment.

While black is not the ideal color for the festive season, we just can’t help but love Aditi’s stunning black Anarkali with multi-colored embroidery. This outfit might be the only black your mom will let you wear this festive season.

Alia Bhatt join Ranbir Kapoor For Rishi Ji’s Welcome Party

We all had been eagerly waiting for a comeback tweet from Rishi Kapoor and it had finally happened on September 09, 2019. Alia Bhatt joined Ranbir Kapoor for Rishi ji’s ‘welcome back’ party.

With all the adulteration and pollutants in the air, it seems like the ‘Big C’ is becoming more powerful than ever before and taking a majority in its grasp. The news of any person affected by this deadly disease has the ability to give us a momentary shock. And when we hear of our favourite celebs dealing with this health-stricken disaster, it comes to us as if it is our very own problem. Something similar happened when veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor, had taken to Twitter on September 2018 and had posted a cryptic note about him leaving the country for health treatment.

Rishi Kapoor’s tweet could be read as “I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years ‘plus’ of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” While fans and media had already started speculating that it is cancer which has struck Rishi ji, it was only later, when posts, tweets and messages had finally proved so. And thus, after almost spending time in the New York City for about 11 months, Rishi ji and Neetu ji are back in India like how!

We all had been eagerly waiting for a comeback tweet from Rishi Kapoor and it had finally happened on September 09, 2019. The same could be read as “BACK HOME!!!!!! 11 Months 11days! Thank you all!” His wife, Neetu Kapoor, who is an active Instagrammer had taken to the social media site and had posted a picture from the ‘welcome back’ decoration that they had done for Rishi ji’s return. Her picture and caption spoke a thousand words about how eagerly were their two children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni waiting for them to be back home. She had captioned it as “This simple balloon has so much Warmth Love and belonging.”

And as per reports, a ‘welcome back’ party for Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor was hosted by Ranbir Kapoor. As amazing as it sounds, there was one guest (not limited to a mere ‘guest’ anymore, though!), who had to be there. Any guesses who it would be? As correct as some of you might get, it was none other than the soon-to-be Kapoor bahu, Alia Bhatt! Alia looked like sunshine in a yellow kurta-sharara as she joined her beau, Ranbir Kapoor and her soon-to-be father-in-law, Rishi Kapoor at his residence. The pictures snapped by the paps were a bit hazy but do we need anything else to depict how pretty Alia looked? Here are the snaps:

Rishi Kapoor was undergoing the entire tenure of his cancer treatment in New York. Every now and then, many Bollywood celebs had paid him a visit there. But mostly, we have seen how doting this ‘almost’ daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt had become already! Amidst film promotions and hectic schedules, we have seen Alia and Ranbir fly off to New York to spend some quality time with the latter’s parents. It was in June 2019, when a wide array of film celebs had visited Rishi ji. Amidst all the pictures shared by Neetu Kapoor, one picture that had particularly caught our fancy was the Kapoor fam-jam comprising of Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Alia Bhatt pose for the camera. Sharing the pictures, Neetu ji had written, “Your family is your whole world. So so many LOVES in these beautiful moments.” Her ‘almost soon-to-be’ samdhan, Soni Razdan had commented, “All looking so well and happy” on the pictures. 

In October last year, we shared with you that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor might take the ‘great vow’ after the latter’s father, Rishi Kapoor’s recovery. A close family friend of the Kapoors had thrown light on the same and had shared, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The couple will wait until Rishi Kapoor’s recovery before discussing a date for marriage.”

Rishi Kapoor had shared sometime back that he feels its time Ranbir Kapoor started thinking about his marriage seriously. Rishi ji had revealed, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don’t have any objection to it.

Janhvi Kapoor talk about her ideal partner

The gorgeous Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of filmmaker Boney Kapoor and late superstar Sridevi, is a well-known name in the industry. The actress who made her debut with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter, is currently busy shooting for her next film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. The biopic is slated to release on 13th March next year and is inspired by the life of Gunjan Saxena, first female Indian Air Force pilot and the first Indian woman air force pilot in combat.

In a recent chat with Brides Today, Janhvi revealed that her mother didn’t trust her judgement in men. She said, “Yes, and she would say that she doesn’t trust my judgement in guys, that she will choose someone for me. Because I love very easily.” She went on to talk about what she is looking for in her ideal partner and shared, “He should be really talented and passionate about what he does. I need to be excited and learn something from him. A sense of humour is really important as well. And, of course, he has to be obsessed with me.”

Surprisingly, the young actress already has her wedding planned in her head. She says, “I want something that’s real and intimate and close to who I am. I don’t need anything big and fancy. I already know my wedding is going to be really traditional and happen in Tirupati. I’m going to wear a Kanjeevaram zari sari and there’s going to be a full daawat after the wedding with all the South Indian food that I love. Idli, sambhar, curd rice, and kheer.”

Deepika Padukone didn’t invite Ranbir Kapoor to her house-warming party

It’s always fun to watch Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor together, be it on-screen or off-screen. There’s always so much to talk about them. The two had been among the most talked about couples in Bollywood, right from their romantic affair to being cordial with each other post their bitter break-up. And now that Deepika and Ranbir have always shared a warm relationship, the former lovers are back to entertain their fans with their crackling chemistry.

In a recent ad for paint, Deepika and Ranbir can be seen pulling each other’s leg in the most cutest way ever. In the video, Ranbir can be seen complaining to Deepika over the phone about why she didn’t invite him for her house-warming party. Deepika tells him that she has painted her walls with a paint that kills bacteria and didn’t want to cause any harm to him. While Ranbir takes a minute to understand what she meant, Deepika bursts out laughing.

In the next scene, Ranbir can be seen at her new house and as Deepika tries to lean against the walls, he stops her saying that it kills bacteria. To which, Deepika fakes a smile at his humour and later joins him in the laughter.

It just goes to show how exes can be good friends even after they move on in their respective lives. While Deepika married Ranveer Singh last year, Ranbir is currently dating Alia Bhatt and they are rumoured to be tying the knot in 2020.

Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla recently completed 33 years in the fashion industry, and to mark the special occasion they hosted a fashion show.

Deepika Padukone turned showstopper for the designer duo and she looked gorgeous in a golden lehenga with a long veil. The actor had a blast at the show, and even broke into a dance on Student of The Year’s Disco Deewane with the designers.

Karan Johar, Rhea Kapoor, Abhishek, Jaya and Shweta Bachchan were also present to cheer for the designer duo.
